Types of Financial Aid Programs

The Financial Aid Office administers several forms of financial aid and also assists with other forms of financial assistance from private donors, corporate sponsors, and other government funded programs.

Grants

Federal Pell Grant Program, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program (FSEOG), and the Leveraging Educational Assistance Participation (LEAP) Program

Scholarships

Merit Award, Nursing Training Program, Dr. Antonio Yamashita Educator Corps, Pedro "DOC" Sanchez Scholarship, Board of Regents ROTC Program, Regent Scholars Program, and the Government of Guam Professional Technical Award (ProTech)

Private Scholarships

IT&E and the IFIL Scholarship Foundation

Student Loans

Federal Student Loans (Subsidized& Unsubsidized) and the Government of Guam Student Loan Program

Student Employment

Federal Work-study (FWS) Program and the Veterans Work-study Program

Tuition and Fee Waivers

Faculty/Administrator, Staff, Dependents, Senior Citizens, and Dorm Resident Assistants

Other Financial Assistance

U.S. Military, Veterans Affairs (VA) Educational Benefits Program, Government Department/Agency Programs, and Government Programs from the Region.
