Summer 2008 Registration Schedule

The following are the scheduled dates for the Summer Session 2008 registration period:

Early Registration (by class level, continuing and returning students)

Re-entry forms are due at the Records office on or before 28 Mar 2008 for returning students who wish to participate in Early Registration.

Math Placement Test Dates

(Bring picture ID and Admissions Application receipt. Plan to arrive 30 minutes early for check-in.)

New students for 2008 Summer Semester are required to submit the admissions application and fee on or before March 28, 2008.

English Placement Test Dates

(Bring picture ID and Admissions Application receipt. Plan to arrive 30 minutes early for check-in.)

Transition Students Registration

May 27 and 28 2008 - Transition Students register at DEAL Office, 2nd floor, English & Communications (EC) Building

Open Registration (week days)

May 27 and 28 2008: Open to ALL continuing and returning students

For returning students, re-entry applications are due at the Records office on or before March 28, 2008.

New Student Orientation

New Student Registration

May 29 and 30 2008: All New Students (Non-degree students may register on May 30 2008)

Late Registration and Schedule Adjustments(week days)

June 2 - For Session A only (Session A runs June 2 - July 3)

June 16 - For Session B only (Session B runs June 16 - August 1)

July 7 - For Session C only (Session C runs July 7 - August 8)

Senior Citizens Tuition Waiver Program

N/A

The Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver Program is not available during summer sessions because they operate on a self-sustaining basis.

Payment Deadline

Session A - June 02, 2008 - 3pm

Session B - June 16, 2008 - 3pm

Session C - July 07, 2008 - 3pm

Voluntary Withdrawal

Students who officially withdraw after the deadline to withdraw without transcript record entry will receive a grade of "W" (Withdrawal) for all classes from which they withdraw. Students must withdraw at the Records Office; a technician will assist in making the withdrawal. Call the Admissions and Records office for more information.

Withdrawal by Petition

Students who miss the voluntary withdrawal deadline and desire to withdraw from a class(es) may petition for permission to withdraw by completing the Petition for Withdrawal Form which is available at the Records Office. Students may petition for withdrawal up until the last day of classes. Call the Admissions and Records office for more information.
