The Water and Environmental Research Institute of the Western Pacific (WERI) – conducts research on freshwater resources. Rated among the top six out of 54 similar programs nation-wide.

The Micronesian Language Institute – research, teaching and service on the indigenous languages in the region.

The Richard F. Taitano Micronesian Area Research Center (MARC) – thousands of photographs and documents from the Spanish Era and regional sources.

Micronesian Health and Aging Studies Institute – studies Lytico-Bodig and neurological diseases on Guam.

The Center of Excellence for Chamorro Language and Culture – contributes to the preservation, maintenance and advancement of Chamorro language and culture.

The Marine Laboratory – conducts research that protects Guam’s and the region’s coral reefs.

Western Pacific Tropical Research Center - serves a broad range of stakeholders through its agriculture and environmental research.

The Cancer Research Center – the Cancer Research Center’s focus is to increase the number of minority scientists, increase cancer research capabilities at UOG, and to reduce the impact of cancer on Guam’s population, among other objectives.

The Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service – builds partnerships and pathways to enhance, improve and support the quality of life of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families on Guam and throughout the Western Pacific.
